Inspiring Youth Through Flag Football

About Touch Football Ontario Flag

For more than 50 years, Touch Football Ontario has proudly operated the largest series of regional qualifying tournaments for men and women in Canada, known as the Trillium Tour. This respected provincial circuit rotates host cities annually and, in 2026, will feature events in Brampton, St. Catharines, Belleville, Unionville, and Kingston.

In addition, the Canadian National Championship brings together competitive teams from across the country. This premier event also rotates nationally, with the 2026 Championship taking place in Ottawa, Ontario. Building on this strong foundation, we are committed to growing non-contact football as a positive and accessible introduction to the sport. For families, this commitment matters.

Flag football provides young athletes with the opportunity to learn the game in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. It is accessible, skill focused, and centered on development. Players build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and fundamental football skills without the physical contact associated with tackle football. As athletes grow, our goal is to ensure they do not simply age out and step away from the sport. We are intentionally creating a clear pathway from youth flag football into structured adult programming. For those who wish to continue playing, there is a natural progression into our established adult tournament platform through the Trillium Tour.

Our vision is simple. When your child begins their journey with us, there is an opportunity to stay connected to the game for years to come.
