Freeport Bahamas Hosts 4th World Cup

Freeport, Bahamas was the sight of the fourth annual World Cup of Flag Football. Despite the ensuing war in the Middle East, and despite the difficulties of traveling, due to the massive eastern snow storm that gave Americans a good taste of Canadian winter life, seventy five teams from fifteen countries made the trek to sunny Freeport. Well worth the trek you ask? Is the world Cup everything that it's cracked up to be? Click HERE to view my take on Zimolka's infamous "World Cup", or use the "Article" icon in the colums. To see a comprehensive collection of photographs, please click HERE, or use the camera icons in the colums. Also, please click on the flags in the columns to see pictures of the international teams. As well, please scroll down the page to see the participating Canadian teams. Their images can be enlarged by clicking on them. Photos of Men's Mexico, Israel, Uruguay and Team USA come courtesy of www.flagmag.com. Any feedback (mistakes, or a big pat on the back) would be welcomed. You can mail Gordon Laverty (me) at gthemvp@hotmail.com. Please specify "World Cup Feedback" as your subject, otherwise I will delete your message without viewing it.
