TFO - Touch Football Ontario

TFO Operations

Touch Football Ontario (T.F.O.) has approximately 5,000 registered and associated men and women football participants playing touch football in several cities throughout Ontario. Many of these cities and leagues include separate divisions for Men, Women, Co-ed and Youth.

TFO operates a number of Trillium Tournaments that are set up so that teams and players of similar skill and abilities from different cities have an opportunity to compete at the same level using a tier system for advancement. The culmination of the Trillium Tour is the Provincial Championships namely The Trillium Cup that provides for qualifying teams to compete in different tiers for Provincial Honors and Awards.

All Trillium Tournament Draws will be posted approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of each new Trillium Tournament. All Trillium Tournament game scores, an updated scoreboard, statistics and standings will be posted shortly after the conclusion of each Trillium Tournament. Additional news and information will be passed on periodically to all team managers via our web site and Newsletter called "In Touch"

All games are played under the National Football Federation of Canada (NFFC) rules and all Touch Football Ontario participants are insured under the same NFFC.

Team Managers and participants are invited to attend the Annual Touch Football Ontario Planning Conference and AGM where information, discussion, and decisions on the upcoming season are provided and implemented. The Planning Meeting and AGM are held in early March and is a one-day event that concludes with elections for office from voting delegates.

New teams or players wishing to participate should refer to our list of Touch Football Ontario contacts for the city and league you wish to play in.

Teams wishing to participate at the Trillium Cup (Provincial Championships) and Tournament of Champions (National Championships) should register in early April with the Touch Football Ontario office. To qualify teams must compete at Trillium Tournaments. Registration, Trillium Tournament dates and locations as well as Policy and Procedures for these tournaments are located within our Web site.
