It’s difficult to
believe that the Unionville stop has come and gone. Its passing spells
the end of the 2004 Trillium Tour, season wise at least. Teams have
long used this event for precious last minute points, hoping to inch
their way towards better a Provincial seading.
As per usual, Unionville’s finest,
Steve Morell, manned the organization/managing duties for this event.
Juggling coaching duties for the Rockets and Xtreme as well, Steve had
his hands full. Despite stretching himself thin, Steve, and his trusty
crew of loyal volunteers, put forth another well run event. The drinks
were cold, the service was friendly, the fields were great, and the
weather was perfect, what more could we ask for in a tournament? On
behalf of the rest of the TFO staff and everyone involved in the Tour,
I’d like offer huge accolades to Steve, his lovely wife Nikky,
and the rest of his priceless volunteers!
