After getting blanked by
the Montreal Maroons in the quarters at the Kingston stop, the Niagra
Muddogs barked into Unionville sniffing for a bone. Not only would this
gritty bunch bark, they would bite as well. They convincingly defeated
the always tough Spartans, Wolverines and Vipers to win their first
title of the season. Certainly not an easy task! It should be noted
that this was the first championship game appearance by the Vipers this
year. I’d like to congratulate both teams for putting up impressive
results at the Unionville stop!
