Despite their strong finish
to the 2003 Trillium Tour, The Toronto Titans have struggled throughout
much of 2004. The Hamilton Hornets have struggled themselves. Both of
these talented teams had an opportunity to improve things in the “A”
finals. Let’s take a look at the road to this game, starting with
the quarter-finals....
Quarterfinals- Ham Hornets 13 vs St Cath Wild

Quarterfinals- T.O. Titans 21 vs Ham Hogs 12
Quarterfinals- Miss Axemen 27 vs F.C. Hurricanes

The road to the finals wasn’t
an easy one. The Titans and Hornets had to defeat the impressive Axemen,
Frogs, Force and Hamilton Hogs.
In the final, Titan specimen, qb Greg
Brown, would unleash some of his lethal skills. Featuring running and
cannon-like throws, he lead his team to a one point victory.
While the Hornets were in the game to
the very end, their hands were full trying to figure out the defensive
schemes of the newly acquired Russ Henderson, Mike Smith and the rest
of the talented crew. I’d like to offer a huge congratulations
to both teams for putting forth such an entertaining game. The Speedy
Hornet, Carlos D’oliveira, and the ever-talented Titans qb, Greg
Brown, captured the mvp honours for their respective squads. Their individual
and team photos can be seen below. Please click on each image to have
them enlarged, enjoy!
