Save for the Montreal Bandits, the “DD”
division was an all Ottawa affair. With many teams knowing each other
and hating each other (on the field only of course), the competition
was fierce. Though parity best describes this division, one team was
the exception. Crafty quarterback Angelo Dinardo and his Ottawa Cobras
(jr) cruised through the quarters and semis to face Ralph’s Riders
in the finals. Though this was the closest of their “DD”
match up’s, the Cobras still emerged victorious, winning the Canadian
crown 21 to 12. Congratulations gentlemen!!
