Points
Adjustment:
For
2008, a new point system will be implemented. For some placings, the
point allotments under the new point system will be lower than the point
allotment of the prior year. This could cause the ranking for teams
that enter early tournaments to fall, solely because of being subject
to a new system providing for lower points. To avert this, it has been
decided that the opening points for teams ranked 1 to 26 will be discounted
by applying a factor of 97% to their opening points as otherwise determined.
As always, the objective is to place teams as best we can at their proper
competitive level, and allow them to move up or down in their ranking
based on their on-field performance.
David
J. Thompson,

Several
teams still have have yet to send in their updated team manager contact
forms. For organizational purposes, these forms are essential to us,
so please get them in as soon as possible. For a reminder, rosters and
insurance fees need to be in the TFO offices seven days before the start
of the tournament.

like to extend a warm welcome to the "Hammer", once again, to all the
teams taking part in the 2007 Provincials this year. Hamilton is delighted
to see familiar faces, and teams, returning to obtain Provincial domination.
We hope that the City of Hamilton will be a great launching pad for
the participating teams to gear up for the up coming Nationals.
Please be aware of the parking issues at Mohawk Sports Complex, and
other field sites. Park according to the signs, and be responsible where
you park your vehicles. The city of Hamilton asks you to place your
garbage accordingly in the receptacles at each respective locations.
The HTFA is happy to announce that the Hamilton Minor Pee Wee Spitfire

Unionville Invitational
On behalf of the Toronto Touch Football League and the Town of Markham I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to the 2007 Unionville Invitational Touch Football Tournament. As it is the last tournament of the 2007 season we are anticipating some hotly contested games as teams jockey for their final positions leading into the Provincial Championships. Although there is a great deal of parity, no one should underestimate the feeling of accomplishment in being #1 or being in the top five teams as the end of a grueling 2007 Trillium Tour.
Once again our tournament headquarters will be located at Markham District High School. Refreshments will be cold and we will have hot dogs/Hamburgers and
with west Indian cuisine on the sidelines.
Each team will be receiving a package at their first game that will contain their tournament game cards and two garbage bags. It would be much appreciated if you could assist our clean-up crews by being responsible for your own sideline garbage. All the fields, especially Markham District, have nearby washroom facilities. Please use those facilities regardless of how strong the call of nature.
As usual it will be a hot so drink lots of fluids, best of luck and have a great weekend.

KINGSTON LIMESTONE
TOURNAMENT
Updated Thurs June 21st at 11:20am
So that everyone is aware, Kingston city officials closed off two of our usual fields at the Lasal complex, which is why we had to utilize other locations.
Regarding the map....Field "Q" directions were improperly listed as "G". This has been fixed in our directions print out. Woodbine #3 is with Woodbine #1 & 2, which is now pointed out on the map. Field J has been added in as well. It's off Russell, between Division st and Montreal st.

Hamilton Touch Bowl
The Hamilton Touch Football Association, and the City of Hamilton, would like to welcome you to the "Hammer". The "Hamilton Touch Bowl", the second stop on the tour, looks to have numerous rivalries at hand for bragging rights in this early 2007 season.
Mohawk Sports Complex once again will be the main headquarters, having 7 fields in one location. The fields are being groomed this week allowing "The Trillium Tour" to be the first to utilise the complex. The City, and the HTFA asks that you please respect the fields of play, and place your garbage accordingly. Please note that parking can be difficult so please use adjacent parking lots, and proper spots that are provided.
The HTFA would like to wish everyone a successful Trillium Tour stop, and we look forward to hosting the 2007 Provincials as well.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to the inaugural Dave Nelson Early Bird Touch Football Tournament. As it is the first tournament of the 2007 season we are hoping it will provide a successful start to the Trillium Tour for all those involved. Our tournament headquarters will be located at MM Robinson High School (Fields E & F) providing the famous Early Bird Hospitality.
Each team will be receiving a package at their first game that will contain their tournament game cards, a City of Burlington Welcome Package, and a garbage bag. I would ask that all teams be responsible for the garbage left at the fields. Please uses the garbage bag supplied, and at the end of the day place it near a receptacle. In addition please use washroom facilities provided as in the past numerous complains have been made by near by residence.
I wish everyone the best of luck, and have a great weekend
