Touch Football Ontario was proud to host its prestigious annual Provincial Championships over the Labor Day weekend. Players, coaches and fans were treated to some spectacular competition, camaraderie and enjoyment. Like the Unionville tournament three weeks before, the hard work put forth by the organizing committee, coupled with the outstanding weather, made this popular affair one of the most memorable.

I would like to take this time to thank our organizing committee for making the 2003 Trillium Tour the outstanding season that it was. Working out of the main office in Ottawa, I have witnessed the hard work that was required to make the weekend the success it was. On behalf of the participating teams, (if I may be so bold) I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone involved in the organization process. Please click on the image at the top of the page to see a group shot of the main players involved in TFO. I would also like tolend a special thanks to Barry Lauzon, Donnie Knowles and Brent Rennick.

Though Barry works primarily for the Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League, his contributions towards TFO have been priceless. Thanks Barry, you’ve been a great help, as usual!!! Additionally, since my father (ED Laverty) and I are not well versed in computer science, Don Knowles has been our savior on countless occasions. Without his priceless assistance, TFO’s leap into the wide world web would have been a cataclysmic failure. Much thanks my good friend!! Don is a technical representative for the highly acclaimed corporation “Nerds On Site”. For all of your computer needs Don can be reached via email by clicking HERE, or via telephone by dialing (613) 880-5036. If you’re out of the Ottawa area please click HERE to visit his companies official homepage. “Nerd’s On Site” representatives come directly to your home or your place of business (doesn’t get much better then that), offering competitive prices and sound computer assistance. If Don can make things clear to me, things can be made clear to anyone!! Thanks again Don! Brent Rennick deserves many thanks for his efforts as our Referee In Chief. He does a superb job of rallying our solid core of officials. Brent, alongside our many dedicated officials, will continue to work towards developing and improving our growing referee’s association.

Three more people deserve some serious mention as well. With my father taking over TFO Presidential duties, his work load has increased substantially. If not for the help of his good buddies (Wayne Lahaie, Bryan Hughes & Adel Mahfouz -in order down below), many of my fathers obligated tasks would have been imposible to complete. Whether they're taking down beer tents, dishing out track suits, transporting trophies, snapping photographs and or filling as referess, these three individuals can always be counted on to help out. Very much appreciated your help has been!!
