Here Comes The Blitz
Like in the Kingston stop, Toronto’s
Reggae Boys made a championship game appearance. Unfortunately, like
in Kingston, the Reggae Boys would find themselves on the losing end.
Taking it to them in this one was the Ottawa Blitz. Though the Reggae
Boys put up some impressive offensive statistics to get to this game,
they were unable to solve the defensive scheme put forth by the Blitz.
Blitz Qb, Duncan Saunders, has been at
this game since his split with the Ambulance Chasers many years ago.
During these years, he has had some success, just not enough championship
game victories. It’s nice to see he and his teammates earn this
one. Hope to see more of you guys on the tour! Congratulations gentlemen!
I’d also like to congratulate the Reggae Boys for making it to
another final, but most importantly for coming to our tournament. It
is always appreciated!!
