The Ottawa Raiders, with their gifted quarterback Fabienne, have
been tearing through the ONTFL ranks for years. Not known very well
on the Trillium Tour, this talented crew made an impact at the Ottawa
stop. Before we get into the statistics that help describe their extraordinary
weekend, let’s see what else happened in women’s tier
two play, beginning with the quarter finals.

Ottawa Twisted Sisters 0
Ottawa Sharks 20 vs Ottawa
Bell Bruins 6
Ottawa Raiders 19 vs Ottawa Sharks

Despite another strong showing by the Rod Moors coached
Ottawa Bell Bruins, the finals would pit the Raiders and hometown rival
Ottawa Sharks in the finals. Although both teams are quite familiar
with each others strengths and weaknesses, the Raiders dictated the
pace of this one. Scoring 19 points, and allowing only 7, the Raiders
would earn their first title of the season. Congratulations ladies!
