The Toronto X-Men had a memorable 2005 season. Although they didn’t always end tournaments with favorable results, they always competed with passion. With their blend of youth, speed, experience and new talent, it was interesting to watch this team mature.

The Ottawa Spartans, another squad blessed with many of the aforementioned attributes, were on a collision course with the Xmen. With both teams ranked one and two, it was fitting that they would square off in the finals. Each squad had undefeated TOC records prior to their match up, setting the stage for an excellent championship game. With the Spartans as the defending National champions, the setting became all the more attractive.
