After losing two close round-robin matches, the London Kuchocki Realty dropped to compete for the “B” title. They would square off against the St Catherine’s Ti-Cats, who shared their round-robin fortunes. Let’s see who these two teams had to go through before squaring off.

Quarter-Finals

London Kuchocki Realty 28 vs Oshawa Hampton Rogues 6

Mississauga Rebels 31 vs Ottawa Outlaws 0

St Catherine’s Ti-Cats 29 vs Toronto Huskies 14

Scarborough Raiders 32 vs Hamilton Yellow Jackets 6

Semi-Finals

London Kuchocki Realty 23 vs Scarborough Raiders 6

St Catherine’s Ti-Cats 34 vs Mississauga Rebels 32

London and St Catherine’s both had a difficult path to the finals. London would pull off some big wins over very talented squads in the Rogues and the Raiders. The TiCats had some huge wins themselves, especially their semi-final victory over the Rebels.

That game was delayed for a long period due to a nasty injury suffered by the son of the TiCats infamous quarterback (we hope he’s okay Pete!). The wait was more then worth it for spectators, however, as the finish to that game was incredible to watch.

Despite posting high offensive numbers all weekend, London and the TiCats would play to a very low-scoring outcome. In fact, only one converted single touchdown gave London their first title of the season. Congratulations on your championship victory gentlemen, you certainly had to defeat some accomplished squads to earn it!
