After dropping a round robing contest to the mighty Hamilton Raiders (nothing wrong with that), the Niagara Muddogs had to defeat a slew of tough opponents in the “C” division before tackling their canine counterparts, the Mississauga Dawgs, in the Championship game.

The Muddogs had to dig deep to slip past the Hawks and Vipers, two teams very familiar with championship appearances. Normally these draining victories would make them easy prey to their opponents, but the Dawgs had a difficult road themselves, setting up a potentially great final.
