The Mississauga Rebels aren’t strangers to championship
games. In fact, they already have a title under their belts this season.
Although they took the DD crown at the Early Bird, they found themselves
drinking early in the beer tent after the quarterfinals in Hamilton.
Even though they were drinking in the beer tent in Kingston, it was
after their second championship of the year.
After dropping a round robin result to the explosive Edmonton Vikings,
the Rebels licked their wounds and took their frustrations out on
playoff opponents. With a combined 69 offensive points in their semi’s
and finals, the Rebels dominated their way to the DD title. Congratulations
gentlemen!
