It’s been some time since the Ottawa Knights earned a Trillium Title, let alone compete in a championship game with more then 7 healthy players. With K-town close by, their roster was sound, and so was their competition. With the Outlaws, Enforcers, Bullets, Spartans, Raiders and Hitmen taking to the field for this division, sound competition hardly describes it.

Fresh off their 1st place finish at the top level of the ONTFL spring league, The Knights marched into K-town with justified confidence. They would need all the confidence they could muster as they battled in one close game after another.

Their Championship game against the Montreal Hitmen was the closest of them all. This defensive battle was good test for the Knights “D”. With the Hitmen being their usual stingy defensive selves, holding back their offense was the test of the afternoon for the Knights. They would pass that test and score just enough points to capture the win. One point, in fact, is what it would be as Peter Findlay and his Ottawa Knights earned their first title of the season. Congratulations gentlemen!
