Four brand new teams dropped
to form the women’s “C” division. Hot off the assembly
line, the Toronto Xtreme squared off against Ottawa’s very lovely
Blarney Stones. Making their trillium debut, the Stones offered some
decent strong defensive competition. Offering strong defensive competition
themselves, the Xtreme would hold off the Stones to squeak out a 3-2
victory. Our other semi finals saw Ottawa’s Bell High School Bruins
take out another new Ottawa team, Outta control, 1-0.
Though kicking singles was the name of
the game in the semi finals, the Toronto Extreme would slide in a single
point converted touchdown to earn their first title of their very short
football existence. Congratulations to you ladies, and to the Bell Bruins
for making it so far. I’m looking forward to seeing much more
of the four new teams from this division, welcome to the tour!!!!! Please
