In the wet and wild Early
Bird tournament, the Ottawa Fury flirted with a title, only to lose
a very close 12-0 decision to Tara Lindo and her Wildcats. In the Kingston
chapter of the tour, The Fury found themselves flirting with yet another
title, but this time against Coach K and his T.O. Lancers. Another difference
this time around was the weather. With the sun shining down, and field
surface quite traction friendly, the Ottawa Fury looked poised for a
title. With stingy defense on both sides, the Fury would be the team
to figure in on at least a couple of scores. With their defense holding
the Lancers to the ever-dreadful doughnut, the Fury would find themselves
hoisting their first title of 2004, defeating the Lancers 12-0. Congratulations
