Rebels With
A Cause
The Toronto Rebels (formerly
Toronto Huskies) made two championship game appearances last season.
Though they always played fairly well, they just weren’t able
to capture the all mighty gold. Well, 3 tournaments into the 2004 tour,
the Rebels can finally move past the monkey that they’ve shaken.
The Rebels defeated the incredibly fun to referee Reggae Boyz, 32 -13,
earning their first title of the tour. Congratulations gentlemen, you’ve
certainly earned it! Please see a picture of the Champion Rebels below.
Though we weren’t able to capture of photograph of the finalists,
we at least have a link to their squad from 2003. Enjoy!
