After losing in the quarters at the Early Bird, the crafty Burlington Bulls bounced back to win the "A" crown in St Catharines. Capitalizing on their success in Kingston, The Bulls cruised their way to the finals where they met up with The Mississauga Axemen.

This was the third consecutive Championship game appearance for the Axe wielding footballers. Coming out with a one and one record in those two match ups, The Axemen looked to ensure that they would be leaving Kingston with a plus 500 championship game result. A plus 500 they left with.
