Canadians Sweep 2002

2002 was definitely the year of the Canadians. Going undefeated with a 48 and 0 record (city and tournaments included), The Ottawa Nepean Canadians accomplished the unthinkable. Over the course of an existence, few teams can brag about capturing a Provincial Title, a National Title, a Trillium Tournament title, even a city league title. The Canadians managed to capture all of these titles in one season. Despite a roster of outstanding players, Rod Moors, Leo Benvenuti, Frank Chiarello, Dan Berrea, Marco Dinardo, to name a few, the Canadians were able to accomplish what they did by following a "team first" concept. Congratulations gentlemen, you've raised the bar for 2003.
