The Toronto Rockets posted mixed but decent round-robin results. They defeated the Raiders, but lost a heart breaking one-point decision to the eventual elite champions, the Fleur De Lys. After losing their preliminary match up to the Wildcats, the Rockets would drop the A side and engage in two hotly contested match-ups.

Their semi-final contest was arguably the most exciting match of the weekend. The Ravens would take them to an overtime thriller that they squeaked out of with a one point decision. The Montreal Warriors gave them their final battle, one that wouldn’t be decided until the very last minute of play.

The Rockets defence held off the advancing Warriors to allow the Unionville Invitational co-operators to earn their first title of the season. Congratulations on the victory ladies, and on another fine job running the tournament!
