TFO Early Bird 2007 Newsletter

The Ottawa Cobras and the Ottawa Jaguars had shaky starts to the Early Bird. Although both teams would lose each of their round-robin matches, the Cobras posted better numbers.
In fact, the Jaguars didn’t score a single point until their third game, where they, ironically, shut-out another hometown rival, Les Rotules.

The Cobras and Jaguars, no strangers to each others tendencies, faced off in what was an expected to be close championship contest. While the Cobras fielded a different qb (Jason Mosher) for this tournament, his being a former Jaguar the previous season, however, would to the rivalry.

The Cobras walked away with the championship, but it was a hard- fought 13 to 12 decision. Congratulations gentlemen!
